After long experience with Tmpgenc, I was indulged to try CCE. I downloaded the trial version and tried with some cut clips to test speed, size and quality.
I have read the manual and (think) am doing everything by the book.
The program seems to work as it should (no error messages and such), however everything produced is a (correct length) black movie.
I suppose I don't have a problem with codecs (no tmpgenc output caused any problem in the past) and media player doesn't complain with the mpeg2 stream loaded.
Any clues?

What options are you using in CCE? Also, what version? Last but not least, what are you dropping into it? Is it an AVI, or frameserved?

The result (for a full length movie) was 130 MB of black frames. I have also tried VBR (2 passes) and MPEG-1, with the same results. The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know. -
Sasi, this is the one you already solved isn't it?
