I am trying to convert a 29.97fps avi file to MPEG2/SVCD with TMPGenc but after conversion the MPEG file is Jumpy or fast forwards during playback. The avi was edited with filters through VirtualDub and seemed fine until I tried to run it through TMPGenc for encoding to MPEG2. The avi files have audio as well, the audio was encoded as PCM/8kbs mono so that I would not drop frames during capture. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong?
