  5. There is a gem out there called Real7ime.
It can do .RM and limited .RMVB.

    Give it a try.
If you are doing .RMVB, you might have to extract the audio seperately,
as desycned audion may crash Real7ime.

    Enjoy!

    Hey . . .

You can find it at www.geocities.com/real7ime - seems to run ok under W2K (but haven't tried it on my XP box at home yet).

    Cheers,

    B.

EO-Video does it. The trial last 20 days and has no limits.
    eo-video.com
    Convert Real to WAV/AVI/MPEG1/MPEG2
Then dump the converted file into TMPGenc if you still need to.
The EO conversion is very good.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

I only make it with tinra and the gui.
I convert the rm to avi and then I encode to mpeg.
Almost always, I use some filters with virtualdub before.
No audio Lipsynch probs that way, frameserving gurante some stuff, but make the whole proccess slow

i have found away 2 do this... fist of all get rid of your real players...

    this is what you need:
    (1) real player alternative
    (2) codecs (these 2 you get from the kazaa lite web site and that is http://www.kazaalite.tk/
    (3) rawaverecoder
    (4) TMPGEnc

All you do is extract the audio using (3) then open (4) and well you know the rest... and there you go...

It works i was at my wits end till i tried this and now i'm happy... please if this works for you to please post this on other websites so everyone else can benifit from it...
