Nero and EasyCD Creator 5 Platinum

I've heard that you cannot have both Nero and Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum on the same computer without conflicts. Does anyone know if this is true and, what specifically are the conflict(s)?

The conflict that i had when i had both installed is that when i loaded a cd into my drive the computer would totaly crash when it read it with an error
fatal exeption in vxdhelp.vxd. this still occurs when one of the programs is uninstalled but is easily fixed by disabling the offending file or files in windows\system\iosubsys

I found that you cannot have the DLA aspect of both software packages running at the same time. I did have both installed and each worked fine as long as I didn't use the DLA. I used them more for the DVD writing. I did switch over to RecordNow MAX (for the DVD writing)
