  1. the last couple of movies i have downloaded will not play in my divx player and when i play them in kazaa they all are covered in a green screen but i can still see the pic behind it barely am i missing a codec or sre the movies jacked?

    Use avicodec to identify the media and then install the latest version of that codec.

    Green screen....I had that problem...installing Xvid codec and Ffdshow sorted it though.

    Ya that sounds like a xvid codec problem.. Do you have nimo.. If so uninstall it and download the xvid codec by itself.. From http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html see if that works.

    It's also settings for the XVID codec in Mediaplayer.

    Under File, Properties, advanced. Choose the XVID codec and click properties.

    It sounds like the contrast bar is set all the way to the left when it should be centered...
