Hi,
Dont know how to explain it but sometimes when I go to cap w/ my STB pci card, it will do perfect with audio included. Othertimes no audio. I would like to go line in on my Live!drive, but that doesn't work all the time.
Isnt there a way to chose which source you want for audio, or is Mic in the default?
Line in works when I capture Vinyl or Cassette audio w/ cakewalk, etc...why would it not with my card and what is the audio in for on the card? I'm running XP and the only drivers I could find were on drivers.com
Thanks.,
M.

I'm pretty new at this but I had a similar problem with my SB Live and XP while capturing with Virtualdub. I finally figured out that the "Select" Box on Line In was being deselected randomly for some reason. When I go into the "Recording Control" .... Control Panel/Sounds/Audio/Sound Recording/Volumn I would see that the "Line In" had become unchecked. But yet .... doing a Line In feed from my stereo for vinyl LP record ALWAYS worked! Maybe it has something to do with the Capture Drivers ... I don't know. But it's something to check.
