  1. Has anyone used this authoring program to import video as a .m2v file then used the "replace audio" button and added the .wav file?

I try this and the sound works fine during testing but when I either burn it to dvd or make the video_ts folders and then burn it and put it in my dvd player i never can get sound? anyone run into this problem or could maybe offer any suggestions?

I know I could probably use something to multiplex them together but I would rather stick with the uncompressed .wav file.

    Thanks.

  2. I did not have a problem doing this with an mp2 file. You may want to try a program called HeadAC3he, and convert the wav file to an mp2 before doing this. Also, once you have the mp2 file you will need to change the extension to .mpa or.mpg to work in Movie Factory.

  3. I know it is somewhere here on this forum, i dont remember where, but there is a setting u need to change in dvdws.ini ac3 from 0 to 1 i think.....

That might help you out. Also check the Ulead forumor knowledge base I think I might have seen it there too.

Uncompressed wav files should not be a problem. I use 'em all the time with DMF2. But make sure your wav files are 16-bit, 48kHz sampled, and stereo.

A common mistake a lot of people make is trying to use 44.1kHz sampled audio. That works for VCD's but for DVD you need it to be sampled at 48kHz.
