Burning an .nrg image...

I've got an .nrg video disc image.
What can I use to burn it?

Does Video Lan Play this sort of Image?

Try Toast 5.2 with the setting in DISK IMAGE, drag the image into the window and hit burn.

See what happens. Good Luck

This is a Nero disk image. Nero is a popular Windows burning app.

It won't burn with Toast, nor with vlc play it. DiscCopy won't burn it, either.
I can extract the mpegs using VCDGearX but I get a jumble of short .mpeg files.
I was hoping that I could burn it as a whole without having to fuss over it...

To the best of my knowledge you can not do anything with this file on a mac, as far as burning..........playing........exporting mpeg
because it was made by a program that is not mac related

best bet would be to try it on a pc.

Thats all the info I can give you with my knowledge of the subject. Perhaps someone else can help/confirm?

I extracted the .mpg files by using VCDGearX. It has an nrg2mpg setting.

I'm processing those .mpg files with GNU vcdtoolsX, right now, and expect that I'll be able to burn the .toc file using MissingMediaBurner.

Isn't there a feature under more missing mpeg tools that allows you to extract mpegs from Nero images?

I don't know if there's an .nrg extractor in missing mpg tools.
I haven't used that app much.
I'll check it out.

I did get a burnable .mpg using VCDGearX to extract the .mpg from the .nrg and GNUvcdtoolsX to convert the .mpg files.

I created an Image of a Non Standard Mpeg2 using VCDEasy, and was going to use Nero to burn. Well it SAYS that it's burning, but it creates a .NRG/ Nero Image file or something. What do I do with this, because I've been having major problems, burning S/VCD's. I have installed shitloads of ASPI's, INstalled forceASPI, still doesn't seem to do the trick, that's why I switched to burning Images, apparently it's "better" anyone got any clues how the hell I get these omages off my hardrive.
