DVD Workshop: Menu only upon request

Is there a way to author a DVD in DVD Workshop so that when inserted into the DVD player it will immediately start playing the video and only show a menu if the menu button is pressed?

Not that I know of, but that does not mean it does not exist. The closest I can think of getting, is to have a page with 2 options 1 to play the movie and the other to display the menu. The movie would not automatically play but it would be just 1 button click.

Yes, just set 'Menu Time-out action' in the Menu = 1. With this setting the menu will be shown for 1 second and then the movie starts.

The problem with this method is that when you press the menu button, you will see the menu for only 1 second and then it starts playing again.
Do you know if there is a way to tell DVD Workshop to simply play the first video (without using "First Play"*) & only show the menu upon request?

*AFAIK, you cannot add chapters to "First Play" video.
