  1. The border is only added to the top and bottom and not the sides, right? Could you change it so the border is added all around the picture from all four sides? I watch fansubbed anime and the subtitles don't cut off the bottom of the screen cuz of the border but sometimes the subs will take up the entire width of the screen and the first and last letter of a sentence will get cut off. Pretty Please could you do this? You program is perfect except for this. Only other improvement I can think of is I wish the menu this program creates would like similar to vso's convertxtodvd. their program sucks compared to your except for the menu. it 's black background with each video files title listed and numbered. you can pick which you want to play by highlighting it with your dvd remote.

This is easily done in S2D by adding a background image and naming your asset button text as you add them to the VTS. The background featuer of the S2D menu allows you to design your own customized image for your menus, you can literally have any menu you want except for motion, and that's coming at some point. Far better than the other program you mention.

As for the overscan, I don't have access to the program right now but I'll get back to you when I do. Hopefully someone else might address it before then.

  3. OK, I have checked and overscan is properly applied all the way around the image, not just top and bottom as you said(that really wouldn't have made much sense, would it?).

I think the problem is with your sub files and the positioning specified in them. A subtitle editor should allow you to work on size and positioning of the ext.

  5. Have you tried adjusting for the overscan area in video settings?
