  1. Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could tell me if IfoEdit or Tmpgenc is responsible for handeling Cadence and Film Flags used in Authored disks in Progressive DVD players? If ether program is responsible for handeling such information, does it do so %100 Correctly? The kind of DVDs I author are 29fps Progressive material.

The reason why I bring this up is because most Progressive players range in quality. Not because some play good disks better, but rather some handle poorly authored disks better.

The assumption I am working under is that my Material is stored at 29fps progressive, and that my cadence and film flags are correctly set. This means even on the cheapest Progressive DVD, it should look perfect since all it needs to do is read and spit out the progressive frame, without the need to intelegently convert the Interlaced image to progressive on the fly.

Anyone who could give some answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
