  1. Are there any DVD authoring programs that can put mpeg 1/VCD files onto DVD so I can fit 450min of video onto a standard 4.7gb dvd disc? Besides Ulead Moviefactory of course.

I'm burning mpeg 1 files with audio 48khz onto dvds. I tried using Ulead but when I burn it, the movies are out of sync. I suspected the dvd player and the dvd disc. So I used the option in Ulead to create a dvd.iso and ran it from my hd using a dvd drive emulation program, the files are still out of sync. The mpeg files are NOT out of sync to start off with. So I suspect the software has issues.

The mpeg files are encoded in standard VCD format with the audio at 48kh.

Never used it as such, but I am sure DVD Maestro can put your .mpg's onto a DVD, just convert em to MPEG2 first.

  3. I want the disc to be playable on my dvd player and be able to fit 450min of video with at least VCD quailty. Currently it is playable, except the sound is out of sync.
