I downloaded Movie Factory 2 last week (registered $45 version from Ulead's site) and have been unable to get it to install. I get the "Disk 1/Layout Bin" error. I tried the Ulead's website suggested fixes (ensuring I'm logged in with admin priveledges and try to execute the install program with the "-a- deleter" switch) and still get the same error. I'm assuming Ulead must have serious tech support problems as I can never get through to them and they won't return messages I leave. I tried leaving tech support an email, but you have to register the software first and since I downloaded, I don't have a reg number... Its been an interesting saga to say the least. I ended up so frustrated I actually went out and bought a new computer and MovieFactory 2 is the first thing I tried to install. Still gave me the error. For what its worth I'm running XP on a 2.53 P-4
2 questions: First, does anyone know of another work around for the "layout bin" error? Second, does anyone know if this problem only affects the download version of the program? Thanks for any help you can give me.
Dave
