I'm using Premiere 6.0 to capture from analogue VHS via a Matrox RT2500 to ultimately archive on VCD, but while I'm getting some good results at present it's a bit of a long process because of the settings.
I'm using the DV preset which saves at twice the resolution of VCD and appears to be uncompressed which means I end up with a huge sequence of avi's for later rendering (I'm using Vegas Video 3.0 for the editing and rendering).
Can anyone recommend some settings for Premiere that either cap straight to VCD or something closer to it?
Deaks.
