    There's a ton of WAY outdated info. on the internet on this subject of HD output from premiere for Youtube, but nothing about the best settings for 2009. Could you guys save me a ton of time and tell me the best settings for output from premiere with adobe media encoder for Youtube??

    The Adobe forums have current conversations, although you do see some stupid posts/suggestions there, too.

    Export H.264 @ 720p with a bitrate of about 4Mbps. There's really not much to it.

    It does vary from version to version. No idea which one you have. I use CS3 and CS4.

    unless your main objective is shooting video for dvd you should try shooting 1080 30p. that way your source is good for HD, online video and can be interlaced during encoding for dvd. the last thing you want is youtube de-interlacing your video. send them 1280x720 30p with a bitrate of 5-10mbps and aac audio. they can't make a mess of that.

    Ill try that, and H.264 or MPEG-2 for codec? - I just cant get over the fact that 3 minutes of HD is 450mb?? Thats nuts.
