Hi.
I have a problem with a movie I've got. When I play it, it does not run smoothly at all. It is very jerky. I've downloaded the program "ReClock" which tells me, " Cannot sync this NTSC video to your hardware. Please set your monitor refresh rate to a multiple of 30 Hz"
The movie has a video stream at 29.971 fps. Is there anyway I can change that, so it will run smoothly again. If it is any help, I live in Europe, which is the pal system, at a lower fps. Please help me. I really wanna watch this movie.

you can open the file in virtualdub and under video/framerate/source rate adjustment/change to ____ frames per second in your case i think 25fps. after you put in your new framerate save as new avi (direct stream copy). notice now you will have streached audio causing audio and video to be out of sync.. you will now need save audio from avi as wave and edit it to fit the video. a great guild can be found here http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/audio-synch.htm good luck.
