    I am currently using TMPGEnc 2.59 with MPG2 and VBR 2 pass OLD. I've heard the Plus version uses a new 2 Pass VBR.

    What is the difference in quality? What are the benefits of using teh Plus version over the shareware one? (I know about the MPG2 time limit)

    There really are no BIG differences between TMPGEnc Plus and TMPGEnc (Freeware). Also, I can't tell the difference between the "old and new" 2-Pass VBR encode modes. :P
