How do I rip a DVD with DVD Decryptor to keep only the movie itself and the chapters/menu. I then want to use DVD2One to make the DVD.

i'm pretty sure for dvd2one to work properly, you "rip all files" to an empty folder, then, in dvd2one you choose the tracks you want. (that's how I do it. the first time I did it i tried to use only some of the files and it wouldn't work)

all you do is rip in file mode with DVD Decryptor. it will high light the parts that are needed to use dvd2one. just rip the highlited files to your hard dive,

When you rip in file mode are the chapters included. How do you know which file is the chapters.

Because Dvd2One shrinks the VOB's down to almost exactly the size that will fit on a DVD-R, you'd have to include some "filler" stuff to make room for the menus (like maybe an extra audio track you don't care about) then remove the filler and replace it with the menu stuff. No matter what, to keep the menus you'll have to do a bunch of crap with IFOEdit after you were all done.
I thought about doing that, but since plain old rips and strips with DvdDecryptor and Dvd2One are so easy and still keep the chapter points, I've just been doing that. You don't have menus to select chapters, but you can still change chapters with the next/previous chapter buttons on the remote.
I've decided to wait for the next version of Dvd2One which will probably support keeping the menu stuff - that will be cool.
