  1. I've heard it mentioned so many times on lots of posts, but I still haven't got a clue what this Avisynth is ?

    Can anyone explain, or are there guides/explanations on here somewhere ?

  3. You gotta try it out.

    I've recently been capturing Scooby-Doo episodes and putting them on dvd. The most fun I had was using avisynth to create the motion menus. It was a snap.

    Generally:

    - Load a jpeg for the background (haunted house), and turn it in to video 1000 frames
    - load 5 clips 1000 frames, from mpeg or avi, resize and position them
    - load a jpeg "pictue frame" of bones, mask it and lay it over the clips. Everything but the bones are then transparent .
    - Open it in virtual dub and fix the frame rate then encode with cce

    All the work is done by Avisynth in not to many more lines than this post.
