    Hello.

    Im planning to buy a new standalone DVD player, and Im chosing between, Pioneer DV-444, JVC XV-N5 & Sony DVP-NS405.

    Which one of those would you recommend ? What is important to me is that it will be able to read my DVD+R(W) discs without problem.

    Also, I were wondering what is the difference between JVC XV-N5 and JVC XV-N5SL.

    Get the Philips 793c

    It is a changer, progressive scan, and it plays everything with top notch quality at a great price. Read the comments on the compatibility forum.

    Can't beat it.
