  1. i have been using this site for a while now and am a semi-newbie and have been finaly stumped and this is my first posting. here it is

    i'm making vcd's and the problem is when using vbub1.4 toget it ready for tmpeg it is throwing out the audio i have been trying alot of help from this site and just can't get it to go . when i load it into vdub it goes out of sync in there and when it is taken out it is wrong it could be out by as much as 30 seconds i have fixxed most of my other problems but this one gets me i have done about 50 or so movies so i sorta know what i'm doing[/list]

    If you have the Options--Sync to audio selected, I would go ahead and take the audio from it and mux it back during the TMPGEnc phase. Here is the guide.

  3. thanks for the help but as soon as vdub opened it no mater what setting i put on it was out of sync so when trying to get the wav out well it was already out of sync so i tryed just using tmpeg and use the same audio as the video source and it worked i don't know why cause every other vcd i have done had to use a wav audio just one of those wierd things that hampen i will continue to look at this posting if anyone else has any suggestions i'm always willing to try some thing else

  4. not sure if this is what you ned but if the video/audio is out of sync prior to frameserving you can fix sync in vdub by going to audio/interleaving/audio skew correctioin and use + or - values for either audio playing to later or to soon. it saves me alot of headache cause i dont like having to use a million programs to get my encode.
