  1. I would like to know if they are IDENTICAL formats with the only difference is the video resolution? If so, how can I change the resolution such that I can play the DivX smoothly on my PocketPC? Which program can help me?

    Thanks!

INTERESTING........ Got to admit you got my interest there. You could always convert to lower res with many of the progs in tools section. Its been a long time since I've used windows CE, what u using?.. ( I'm not even sure whether windows CE, if thats what you're using, will support the codecs) Consider the system you're using... What's the output display? If its only low res (whatever figure) then it's pointless encoding above that res. As far as looking for IDENTICAL formats, then no. If u consider some 2 year old PCs will not support what is available now, then expecting a dumbed down version of windows to support it....... only a matter of time though (xbox plays xvid etc......)
you know it's the anti-Midas touch when all you touch goes to shit..............
