  1. I have an external HD with a lot of videos of mostly 4 GB. I want to shorten some of the videos by changing them to AVI (DIVX) in order to safe space.
I use to use Super video converter (Freeware).I put all the files in the converter install AVI and DIVX, adjust the format 16:9 and after several hours I indeed have a bunch of AVI files. When I look the videoparts, I see that they have the size 5:4 and not like the original 16:9. How can I adjust this?

I would convert them to mp4 or mkv with h264 video instead. Use for example vidcoder or handbrake.

But if you want avi divx/xvid then instead of super try StaxRip or maybe the old AutoGK might work also.
