converting avi to vcd or svcd with tmpgenc

Hello can someone tells me why when i convert a avi to svcd or vcd with tmpg the movie ands as full screen movie if the movie before i convert him wide screen was.

cuz u prolly have chosen the wrong aspect ratio: you need 4:3 or 16:9
Check in TMPG with SETTS -> ADVANCED -> SOURCE ASPECT RATIO

Also, next to Video arrange Method under the Advanced Tab, set it to "Full screen (keep aspect ratio)".

Before you begin, make sure you hit CTRL+N to erase the settings before, AND then start again. Go in the Advanced Tab, and make sure you choose Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio). It should work.

you shouldn't say that. that's what we are here for. to help out the unfortunate when they need help. in the advanced bar, just set the aspect ratio to full screen (keep aspect ratio) like DivXerouS said.

I don't mean to be mean, but I posted a similar question and found the solution to it. I guess I shouldn't say that.
