    When i convert from xvid to mpeg in tmpgenc it says anylisis on a black screen while im converting, but when im converting divx to mpeg u can c the picture frame by frame.

    Option > environmental settings > VFAPI plug-ins > DirectShow multimedia file reader
    Right click and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4, or just below any Mpeg 2 filter

    Make sure you have the Xvid codec and...

    Option > preview > display with thinning
