    When i take the vobs from my dvd drive and put it to the comp using smartripper or any other program....it always gets skips....not so much skips as pauses...like it'll go for 2 mins then have a 2 sec pause...then go for 5 more and pause again..i can't figure out what the problem is...can someone please help

    Can't say this will cure your problem, but I had the same. I washed my dvd, and it worked just fine, after washing it twice.
