i have used an old version of tmpg with no problems at all until i installed
wmp9 now when i try to open avi files(ones that were ok before)it says file cannot be opened or is unsupported or tmpg has encountered a problem and needs to close,ive tried increasing direct show settings but to no avail,tried windows news groups etc has anyone had the same problem? files will still play on all players i have.ps tried new versions also.

There's no telling what Bill Gates did to your system. I regret the day I installed that monster wmp9 on my system. Anyway, have you checked to see if any of you Nimo Codecs have been changed? It may be worth a try.
