i bought a Leadtek Winfast 2000 XP capture card 5 days ago, and am still unable to get a decent capture.

i have tried

drivers
-----------------
- ones from leadtek site
- ones from iulab.com
- ones from btwincap

programs
-----------------
-leadtek software (quality was terrible, audio was terrible)

- virtualdub (quality was ok, however if the cap was more than a couple of minutes long, the file would become corrupted when i clicked stop, and it was only have the size in gb's that it should have been)

- virtualvcr (quality was ok, same problem as virtualdub, however it also had bad interlace)

- iuvcr (quality was excellent, best quality out of all programs, however sound/video was out of sync, i tried having audio as master, tried sync using stream offset, and changing the compression of the audio, still out of sync, and now it crashes for some reason)

- avi_io (crashed as soon as record was pressed)

- flyds (quality was very good, nearly as good as iuvcr, however the audio/video was also out of sync, this one was probably my favourite, as it allowed higher capture size)

codec's
-----------------
huffy
mjpeg

capture size
----------------
352x288 @ 25fps

i have tried all the above with numerous video tapes and am still no closer to starting to be able to capture, i want to be able to convert my vhs tapes to vcd, so if someone can help me getting any of those programs to work, in particular iuvcr or flyds.
