  1. can anyone tell me what this means.

    EIniFileException Unable to write to C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2SVCD.INI

    running winKP pro
    p4 2.00ghz
    512 ram

    any help much appreciated

    It can be caused by..
    1. Permissions on the directory (unlikely)
    2. The file already exists and is 'read only'
    3. There is a corrupted copy of the file in the directory.
    4. A process has the file locked.

    Make sure that the directory is clear of old files.

    You can also try pointing DVD2VCD to another working directory - (on the MISC tab select 'Default output folder' and set it to some other location).
