Hey,
I was having way to many problems trying to caputer and edit mpegs... I am wanting to capture to AVI with the huffyuv codec... DMA is enabled on my drive! This is a very new computer i dont think it should have a prob, when i start the capture in virtual dub, the video freezes and frames dropped goes off the scale! Im sure its just some setting i have wrong, but have been trying for awhile, and know you guys can help!
Thanks
Matthew

are you capturing at 29.97 frames, 352x240 and try using the BTYUV codecs for uncompressed AVI, also make sure your audio is 44.100 16 bit stereo.
I capture just like this and get no drop frames.
