  1. Ok... I have a BUNCH of .m2v files that I really want to burn onto SVCDs. They are short music videos. Some say that these files are audio only, but they are in fact video and audio, because i've viewed them all. They have sound and picture. With some, when I try to add them to the Nero SVCD playlist it says they aren't compliant because they have no video and or audio. With others it will offer to convert the file, but when it does and I go to burn it shuts down! It dosen't even give the option to convert.. Nero just will not take them. What does this mean? It sucks. Do I need to convert them to MPEG2?? If so.. what can I use? I've had TMPGE for the longest time and I guess the MPEG2 conversion 30 day trial is over for me. I heard that you can always just get the new version and your trial starts all over again. Well, I deleted all of my TMPGE files and downloaded the latest one, and it still says the trial is up. <EDITED - Don'T ASK FOR WAREZ> I would hate to have to purchase brand new versions of Nero & TMPGE just to make a few SVCDS. Are there any other converters I can use that will produce a quality video?

I've heard some things about VCDEasy.. I have it, but it seems to be a pain in the ass to use. I know it dosen't convert, but I am willing to give it a try if I have no other options.

I really just want to convert these .m2vs (i guess to MPEG 2??) and make some frickin SVCDS! I haven't made a successful one yet. I converted one .mv2 to MPEG1 for a VCD and it came out really bad, it was REALLY slim on my screen.. it just looked bad.. oh and the sound skipped too.

    AHHHHH!

If anyone can help me, I'd GREATLY appreciate it.. as I am desperate.

    Thank you in advance!
