  1. I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, but DVDSP seems to be picky about m2v streams. Infact it won't let me import any that have been encoded in anything else except the QT encoder that comes with it. I've tried all sorts of encoders, even TMPeg on my PC, but the resulting m2v file appears greyed out in the finder when I go to import them into DVDSP. It doesn't have any problem with ac3 files which weren't created in APack. I was thinking maybe there was something wrong wth the headers in the m2v file or something. Anyone know a way to "fix" these broken m2v's? I don't really want to reencode them all again

Yes, the solution you are looking for is this: More Missing Tools, by RNC. Here is the link: http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/. Use the 'BITS (timecode)' tool on your m2v stream, and if it's gonna work with DVDSP, it'll work after this. A few rare ones will still not work, and you need to use Sizzle or something to master a basic DVD.

well you could also try draggin the files in question into the assets window instead of importing through the menu, sometimes it will accept video files that way that it wont let u accept through importing in the menu.. a LOT of people dont realize this

OMFG!!! That's awesome, thanks for pointing that out! Stupid Apple for letting bugs like this persist so long. Import flexibility is really something they have to work on.
