After reading some recommendations here, I decided to try Eazy VCD last night. Here's my experiences, I was wondering if any of you had the same issue:
I slapped in a DVD with about 1 hour of film on it, I set the encoding quality to the highest setting. I specified an output directory (D:\Temp), bin/cue and let it go.
I didn't get any errors and I watched it get to TMPGEnc and I saw frames being encoded ... it was going to take about 8 hours or so. I checked the button that shutdowns the PC when it's done.
I come back in the morning, power on the machine and there's NOTHING in D:\Temp! I search my computer ... nothing! What's up? I have about 10gb free and for a 1 hour film you'd figure it would be plenty of space.
I'd appreciate your responses,

I, too, use EazyVCD, lately with no problems. My procedure is this: I create a new folder for each DVD (for example D:/Cinderella). Then I make sure D:/Cinderella is the default folder for that copy. I check "Delete all temporary files." I don't check the "Shutdown computer" box because I leave my machine running. In the morning I click on the folder for D:/Cinderella, and I find my file there ready to burn.
To answer your specific question, I don't know where your BIN/CUE is -- you might do a search by either file name or file size.
I think Rob has done a great job with EazyVCD.... -
I agree, I love the interface, the options and stuff are very intuitive and for a rip-dummy like me it's perfect for me purposes. I must be doing something wrong. I'm going to try it again and rip something small ... see if it gets lost in the ether again.

Hey there
There was a problem in earler versions of Eazy VCD that would cause this problem when encoding to XVCD or XSVCD.
This problem has been fixed in version 1.14e
you can get it from the website http://www.eazyvcd.tk

Rob, thx for the tip but I did use 1.14e. Another question I have is how do you enable Variable Bit Rate?
