More PS2 Grief

Ive now tryed putting my ice age rip on a mirror,traxdata and some white top(ritek dye) dvd-r's,yet the ps2 still gives me grief playing it.

Ether plays the audio and no video or it plays both but the video is jerky.

The thing is the Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets dvd screener i have plays fine,the LOTR Two Towers dvd screener plays to a certain point then starts jerking,and the ice rip does what i said.And there all on traxdata dvdr's.Ice age and two towers does the same thing on my mates unmodded ps2.

My ice age rip works on my standalone.

I also cant see it being a problem with the A05 as it burns the ps2 dvd games ok and the films work on my standalone.

What burning method do you use? I've got the same damn problem with playback on Playstation 2. I'm using Ritek 1x dvd-r, plays fine on my Apex 3201 stand alone, but skips on my Playstation 2 (backup is Goldmember). Also, my backup games play fine (verbatim dvd+r media)

I'm almost sure this is a media problem, so I started a post called "compatable media with Ps2" and I'm trying to get people to list what media will play on Ps2 and what version Ps2 was used. The Playstation 2 laser is sensative to dvdr and is picky about what it will play.
