Hi, I currently use an ATI TV Wonder VE card with Virtual Dub with Pic Video 18 quality at 480x480 resolution to archive my vhs collection. Most of the tapes are of excellent quality themselves so the source isn't the problem.
My computer specs are:
866 Mhz pentium 3 processor
64 meg of RAM
20 gig hard drive
Intel 3d graphics with 8 megs dedicated
My question is, if I upgrade the RAM to at least 256 megs would the quality of the captures get any better because I have heard that the ATI TV Wonder VE card produces excellent quality captures.
Thanks
