Just finally finished encoding my .m2v file and tried to load it into maestro and it reported that it was an invalid frame rate but its 23.976 and maestro is set to Ntsc so it should be right shouldn't it ? Could it be because I had to re-encode the Xvid to Divx5.01 before Tmpgenc would read it ( shouldn't have thought so but thought I would mention it). Has anyone got any ideas cos I'm gettin a little tired of all the probs I keep getting

Guest (??) is right, DVD requires 29.97fps OR 23.97fps and 3:2 pulldown. Use pulldown.exe to do this.

Thankz for the info , tested the 3:2 pulldown on a small file ( not that I didn't believe just checking ) and it loaded fine..
1 more question , will i now need to change the frame rate on the audio ? it was a seperate ac3 file so won't be changed when i do the movie file.
Thankz again for the help , saved many hours of head scratching -
Hmmm the 3:2 worked on 1 of the files but the other file that was done on the same settings still gives a frame rate error when I try to load it , I would prefer not to have to convert the whole lot to 29.97 i've never had so many problems with movies and authoring as I have the past month
anyway if theres any ideas at all then lets hear them...
