Ok I was told in a Sony CX850D review that Offfice Depot 80 min CDR's do work. Thing is I cant get them to. Can someone help me here. I am using NERO to burn and trying to make a VCD for my cd player.
Is there a certain speed I should try??? or is there a more relieable burn program than NERO. I can get it to work on MEMOREX cdrw's though. Thing is I want to permantly burn them. Any help at all is needed
Thanks

Don't use Office Depot CD-Rs, I have a 50 pack and they seem to give me the most difficulty of all the CD-Rs that I use. I really like Memorex CD-Rs. From what I have read on this forum and discovered today, several people have recommended sticking with x2 speed for optimal performance. Thats too bad, because I have been burning all my XVCDs at x8 speed. This might be why my XVCDs are not turning out so hot at times..oh well
Is there a better program than Nero?
I would say no. I used to have Easy CD creator 5 Delux and simply refused to believe that Nero was better. Than, one day I tried it out. I am glad I found this forum b/c it's definitely better than ECDC5. It's faster and actually should be labeled Easier CD Creator.
