My standalone DVD player has difficult playing SVCDs because of audio sync problems. I've seen that using the "VCD Header trick" these problems disappear. To apply the trick I use TMPGenc to demux the SVCD mpeg file and then mux it again as VCD. Then I use Nero to burn the VCD.
The problem is that the demux/mux process result on an important file size increase, and most of times the file that fit on a CD as an SVCD, won't fit on a CD as a VCD using the VCD Header trick...
What should I do to keep a similar file size so I can burn my SVCDs as VCDs without having problems because of converted file no fitting into a CD??
Thanks!

Make sure when re-multiplexing with the Header Trick that you select MPEG-1 Video CD (Non-Standard) instead of MPEG-1 Video CD in TMPGEnc. :P
