  1. I d like to get the still menus of a dvd out to modify them in to Photoshop then put them into a maestro project, is there a tool, cause I can't get them

  2. You could try HyperSnap-DX or SnagIt, both will do the trick. I actually think there's a screen capture feature in PowerDVD too.

    There are several ways to get the menus into .JPG or .BMP files that must be 720 x 480 for Maestro. I use STHSVCD or PowerDVD player.

    In the TOOLS section of VCDHELP:
    VCD,DivX,AVI,MPEG1 Players

    You will find STHSVCD
    A VCD, MPEG Player. Supports also SVCD, DVD if you have installed a software DVD Player. Freeware.

    Here is a quick and easy way to capture a video scene as an image using PowerDVD.
