Help play VCD on portable Video Cd player !

I made a vcd from a divx using TMPGE and when i burned it with "Nero" and put it in the portable Video Cd "Sony D-V500" it don't play and appears message "no disk". Is it nessesery to use another additive program to play VCD. Help me please!

Is this the same engine inside yours ?

TMPGEnc > Make sure you load a VCD template > PAL/NTSC
NERO > Compliant VCD (No CDI) > Finalize disk

Use a different brand CDR "higher quality" like TDK/Maxell

I find out solution of problem. I used for test CD-R/W, but when I tried with CD-R all is OK. Therefore my VCD don't recognise CD-R/W.
