  1. Im trying to play vcd's for the first time on my cd-rom.
    I can hear the drive running.. but nothing happens.
    I downloaded powerdvd.. nothing happens.
    I downloaded scsi1help.vxd.. nothing happens.
    I try to access the drive.. says drive is not accesable, incorrect function.
    Im running windows 2000.

    Is it my computer? Or the VCD?
    Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks.

  2. two ok things are possible:
    1. it's a mode 2 CD, holds more data (like 800 MB for the 80 MIN) but has an inferior file system (takes a while to load the data). maby you should give it like 3 or 4 minutes for a 30 or so speed drive
    2. use i-on VCD player, it's great. Of course if after 3 minutes you cannot go to the drive in "MY COMPUTER", and look at it, it's just not being recognised as valid for some reason, dunno why.

    If your using Power DVD click the Icon "Select source" and "Open Media file" select the large file from "X:\MPEGAV" > Avseq01.dat

    X = your CD-ROM
