    Hello,

    I convert an mpeg clip to vcd whit adobe premier and i burnde it with nero but when I play it on my standalone DVD it plays black and white.
    Anyone knows why?

    Sounds like NTSC VCD on PAL player. Try recreating as PAL VCD (352x288@25fps). This should solve it. I noticed on my player that if I use the Scart connector on the back instead of the yellow cinch NTSC plays fine. It may be your TV not being able to handle NTSC signals.
