Panasonic DRM-E30 New Owner

Hello All
I just picked up a Panasonic DRM-E30 DVD-R recorder.
Does anyone have some tips that they would share with me ?
Are there any web sites that would have tips on how to use the deck so I can get the most out of it .

I too would be interested in anyones answers/advice, as i too just picked up this unit. Frefalcam, the only advice i can give you after owning this unit for less than a week is : DONT test your discs on an XMS 750, they suck for playing DVD-R , Shintaro and TDK discs work well with this unit, and i am at times dissapointed with its recording quality...Can anyone tell me any changes to the units settings i should make to improve quality? VBR, etc? Anything less than XP looks a little rough... Also, is there anyway i can change settings to record NTSC recordings to disc? (I'm in Aus, so the unit is PAL...BUT, i think it may have been 'fiddled' with by my supplying shop, as it plays ALL region discs, and its not supposed too!)

Anyway, like Frefalcam, i would appreciate any help, and will pass on any tips i gather while i tinker.

Hey guys - I've been helping a work colleague region-free his supermarket-bought APEX dvd player, and I found tons of fan sites, forums etc on the web dedicated to what, let's face it, is a substandard piece of kit (APEX owners seem to recognise that it is pretty below-par, and even seem to revel in the fact!) ... Surely there must be a support network for E30 users, too?
