  1. I've got two videos i want to drop in maestro.

dropping the two video files on the timeline consecutively works fine.
however, dropping the second audio on to audio track 1 doesn't work.
it wants to replace the first one.

i tried dropping video 1 on movie 1 and video 2 on movie 2, but when
i burn it to dvd the player gets to the end of movie 1 and just stops (unless
I chapter advance before video 1 ends.. then it'll skip to the next video.

is there a commmand sequence option I'm missing to tell it to start video two when one ends?

    thanks,
    d

  2. two options

first make your two movie files in the timeline (one for each). on connections tab first play as movie 1 (or a manue if you have one). on the very last chapter number of movie 1 (say 8),end of chapter right click and choose movie 2.

when movie plays you can now forward to the end of the movie and the 2nd will play straight away. You can't back chapter though

2nd option: join the two audio files together. add audio 1, then right click on the audio stream, to combine 2nd stream. maestro will now join both audios together.

check for audio synch before burning

    1. load all your m2v files on the video movie time line ... that is only the video section laid out on 1 time line ... 2 video clips ..

    2. now right click on the audio timeline and create sync audio

    3. now assign to each of your 2 clips a matching ac3 ( or mp2) audio clip in the pop up box and hit create ...
a new ac3 ( mp2) audio file will appear on your audio timeline .

    joepic's right .. i think i have posted that here 100 times ..

also say you have multiple video files and 1 ac3 file -- no problem .. maestro has a built in trimmer and mpeg joiner ..

drop each of your video files on the time line , trim each as nessessary using the maestro trimmer , then highlight all the clips and right click and select join ..

  5. I dont seem to be able to sync with my mp2 files. Maestro doesn't like them. Is there a simple MP2 to AC3 or do I have to multiplex all my movies and the de-multiplex to get one mp2 stream?
