Hi,
I have a .avi file with wery good picture and sound quality. I tried to burn it to to VCD using VirtualDub for the sound, and then TMPEnc. When I watch the movie at home the picture is ok, but it has to be something wrong witht the sound.
When I only use the TV speakers it sounds great. If I use the PCM sound from the DVD player to the reciver is sounds great. But If I use the normal DVD settings (Digital sound) and expect to get the sound to the receiver as I am when I listen to CD's I get a stange "screaming" sound.
I do not like the "fuss" that it is to change the DVD settings each time I watch a VCD.
Any ideas??
Thanks,
I.
