Hi Guys,
I've been trying to set up realtime recording to SVCD format & thought I would post my findings. Hopefully this will help others.
I tried PowerVCR2 Deluxe but I found this had a lack of PAL templates for SVCD. I then tried NanoDVR, this kept crashing when trying to capture in SVCD. My final try was with Intervideo winDVR2, this works fantastic for capuring to SVCD PAL format. It works like a video recorder. You can set a timer like a video player as well. The mpeg's produced can be burnt direct to CD-R or CD-RW using vcd easy.
In my opinion I would say Win DVR is the best for TV capture, any other opinions please post.
The capture card I'm using is a Avermedia TV Capture98.
Hope this helps others.![]()
