  1. I'm using Ulead DVD MovieFactory ocationaly to create SVCDs, since I don't have a CD Writer, I'm saving my works to images (I will buy a writer soon...). The image fomrat is ixa, and I want to convert it to bin/cue format, I have tried every program I know to do it but didn't succeed. Does anyone know a program that can do it?

  2. Hello,

I have the same problem with ulead videostudio 6. The system i use for rendering has no cdrw so i use the option create image file when creating a (s)vcd, the programm creates an svcd_xa.ixa file. This is not an recognised file by Nero or Winoncd. The strange thing is that when creating an dvd the option create image in .iso format is available! It realy sucks because i cannot create an svcd! and the miniDVD format works fine on the pc but not on the standalone dvd players.

Once i found a solution on some forum with the program isobuster (.com) It creates an .bin file which you can rename, but Nero says something is wrong with the block size. I tried every option but it does not work!!!

So does anyone have a solution? or an guide how to do this?

    Regards
    Marco

  3. You cannot make an ISO image (as I understand it) of a VCD or SVCD because it contains multiple tracks.

As for the proprietary image format, it is difficult to deal with. The only way really, to convert it to CUE/BIN is to burn the image onto say a CD-RW disc and then extract a CUE/BIN with CDRWin... Unfortunately, you not happening to have a CD burner on that machine would make this impossible.
