d2v prob loadin to tmpeg plus ultra

can anyone help with this...i have loaded my disc through smartripper then dvd2avi and have my demuxed d2v file but i cant load this file into tmpeg plus ultra program.it comes up ;cannot open or unsupported
any ideas on how to rectify this.if you do can u make it as clear as poss as i,m new to all this and admittingly aint got a clue ha aha

i used to have the same problem, then i tried ripping the dvd with dvd decrypter, then ran the vob files thru DVDtoAVI to get the M2V video file and ach3 audio file. download winrar and headach3(you'll need winrar to open the headach3 program) run your audio file thru the headach3 program to convert it to a wav file. then load into tmpeg as usual. works eerytime for me plus audio is always perfectly in sync and results are outstanding. look up any info on headach3 if you need to know how to set it up. let me know how you make out.

i had the SAME problem last week
I started using dvd2avi version 1.77 and that fixed that problem
