  1. This is my first post so thanks in advance for any help. I have been combing this site for weeks trying to figure all this out so forgive me if I ask stupid questions.

I am trying to convert my captured dv files to dvd mpeg to create playable dvd's. I can do this successfully with Ulead DVD Movie Factory but the loss in quality was annoying. I converted with Tmpgenc and the video quality was great but the audio was playing in slomo. I tried to rip out the audio to wav with virtual dub but it will not accept dv1 files. I tried to convert dv1 to dv2 with both the dv1 convertor on the tools site and the canopus convertor. Both failed and corrupted the files.

Any advice will help. I would like to know how I can either fix the audio through Tmpgenc or convert this large dv1 file to dv2 or something that i can rip the wav out of and encode.

    Thanks

Try converting the file with the Canopus DV File Converter again, but this time choosing Microsoft DV (AVI 2) as your target format.

    Hope this helps.

Are you sure all your volumes are NTFS?
