I've been ripping dvds for quite sometime with great sucess but the one thing i would like to be able to keep is the menus at the beginning and besides creating my own which takes more time then i would like is there anyway after you decrypt your movie to keep the nice motion menus at the beginning. Here is my rutine for ripping and burning.
1. i decrypt with dvd decrypter or smart ripper
2. i use dvd2avi to make d2v and extract my ac3 wav file
3. i reencode with tmpeg and out put to an m2v and mp2 file
4. i rename my mp2 file to wav so it will import into impression
5. i import my m2v and wav file into pinnacle impression 2.2
6. i use photoshop to create a plain boring menu
7. i insert my menu set some chapter points and then burn

4. start up DVDmaestro and re-author m2v+ac3+chapters(+subtitles)
5. use Ifoupdate(this is for keeping the menu)
6. change the new vob's in the original set... (this is for keeping the menu)
7. burn the movie...
there is some little steps that are not there...but that ac3 track is nice in the DVD-R 8)
